It's been over a year since everyone was forced into sudden remoteness by the pandemic. Companies like Quora, Dropbox, Coinbase and Upwork were among the first to realise the benefits of remote working and switched to a remote-first model quickly.
After 1.5 years, this is what each of these remote-first companies have been able to achieve:
- Dropbox grew its revenue by 12% in Q1, 2021 to $512 mn.
- Quora is now valued at $2 bn and has grown to 950 employees
- Upwork's market cap has grown by 300% in 12 months!
- Coinbase had the 7th largest IPO in the history of the US stock market.
These success stories demonstrate that remote work is by no means a blocker to your growth.
